OVERVIEW

HOURS

Full time 40hrs/ week

TERM

The contract would be initially for two years, but an extension to the contract subject to availability of work/funding would be considered at the relevant time.

SALARY

Starting salary for this position is competitive and negotiated based on relevant prior experience.

LOCATION

Main office Kincraig, Scottish Highlands. Hybrid and remote working options available

ANNUAL LEAVE

The leave year is from 1st July till 30th June: Annual leave entitlement for full time posts is 28 days and 8 public holidays.

TRAVEL

You may be required to travel as part of the post.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We offer a fantastic opportunity working within a small team to help drive business development and marketing for our not-for-profit clinical data research organisation based in the Scottish Highlands. 

The role holder will help identify, develop and secure new business opportunities through key activities including generating leads, maintaining relationships and coordinating marketing activities, in line with the organisation’s goals and business strategy.

The contract would be initially for two years, but an extension to the contract subject to availability of work/funding would be considered at the relevant time. The candidate must already have the right to work in the UK. This role is not offered under the UK sponsorship scheme.

QUALIFICATIONS | key skills

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience with knowledge including life sciences, clinical research, business development and marketing.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to understand and propose services and solutions by focusing on the customers’ / partners’ needs and requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to support the creation of compelling content
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Competent knowledge of IT and software applications including Microsoft Office products, business development, website and graphic design applications. Proficient use and knowledge of social media platforms
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
