Advancing Clinical Trials, Empowering Communities
Clinical trials are the backbone of medical innovation, ensuring new treatments are safe and effective and bringing life-saving medicines to society.
As an expert non-profit provider of clinical trial data services, at Frontier Science Scotland we are dedicated to expanding knowledge and building public trust in clinical trials and statistical science through our Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) programme.
We are passionate about educating the public and scientific community on the importance of clinical trials, the use of patient data in clinical research, and the critical role of clinical trial participation in shaping research outcomes that benefit everyone.
Above all, we champion the sharing of clinical trial results in a clear, accessible and transparent way—because everyone deserves to understand the science behind advances in medicine.
Involving You in What We Do
At Frontier Science Scotland, we believe clinical research should be shaped in partnership between the research community and the people it serves – you.
Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) in clinical research means collaborating with patients and the general public to inform how research is designed, conducted and shared.
You can get involved by:
- Learning how patient data is used in clinical trials
- Joining FSS groups and events on PPI
- Contributing content which shares your perspective of medical research and clinical trials
